A Road Home

Original Artwork by BoStar

Some roads lead to places. Others lead back to a feeling.

For BoStar, his grandparents’ farm represents a kind of peace that has stayed with him throughout his life. Away from the hustle, noise, and constant movement of the outside world, the farm was a place where life seemed quieter and time moved a little slower.

That memory became the inspiration for A Road Home.

Created in chalk on pastel paper, the piece centers on a road stretching through a peaceful landscape. But for BoStar, it is more than scenery. It is a road back to the stillness he remembers, to family, and to a place that continues to represent home long after childhood has passed.

In his own words:

“On my grandparents’ farm there was no hustle or bustle. I long for that peace and quiet still today. They say all roads lead to somewhere—well, this is the road that’ll take me home.”

There is something universal in that longing. Most of us have a place, a person, or a moment from our past that represents comfort—a place we would return to if only the road could take us there.

A Road Home captures that feeling in a quiet, personal landscape: not simply the journey toward a destination, but the desire to find our way back to where we once felt most at peace.
