How the Activation Process Works:

Step 1 — Send the Inmate Create Book

Everything begins with the Inmate Create: Launch a Clothing Line book.

A supporter purchases the book on Amazon and has it shipped directly to the artist’s correctional facility. Inside, the artist will find everything they need to get started, including step-by-step instructions, helpful resources, and the required Artist License Agreement.

The artist independently completes the paperwork, creates their artwork, and mails everything back to Inmate Create.

Step 2 — We Receive the Artwork

Once we receive the artist’s original artwork and completed Artist License Agreement, we carefully review everything to ensure it’s ready for the next phase.

After approval, we professionally scan the artwork and create an Activation Page like the one you’re viewing now.

Step 3 — You Activate the Collection

This is where supporters help bring the artist’s vision to life.

By purchasing this Activation Package, you cover the professional digitization and production setup needed to transform the original artwork into a complete merchandise collection.

Step 4 — We Build the Collection

Our creative team professionally digitizes the artwork and prepares it for production across apparel, drinkware, mugs, tumblers, accessories, and more.

Every design is carefully refined while preserving the artist’s original creative vision.

Step 5 — The Collection Goes Live

Once everything is complete, the artist’s collection is published on Inmate Create for supporters around the world to discover.

From that point forward, the artist earns royalties on qualifying merchandise sales in accordance with their licensing agreement, turning a single drawing into an opportunity to build a lasting creative brand.
