BoStar is more than a brand. It’s the creative voice of Bo, an incarcerated artist who’s spent over 45 years behind bars. Through it all, Bo has leaned on his faith, his humor, and an unshakable belief in brighter days. His art doesn’t just reflect his journey—it reimagines it with wit and purpose.

Recently, Bo faced a new battle: cancer. And just like everything else life’s thrown at him, he met it head-on—with grit, grace, and God’s help. Now cancer-free, Bo’s pouring that same strength into his artwork, using creativity as a force for healing—and laughter.

The “No Bull” Design: Turning Struggles into Smiles

Bo’s latest piece, “No Bull”, is his story in a nutshell: honest, funny, and full of soul. His motto?

“If life gives you crap… make a funny T-shirt out of it!”

It’s more than a laugh—it’s a reminder that hope and humor can bloom even in the harshest conditions.

But Bo’s impact doesn’t stop there. He’s donating 100% of the profits from this design to St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank, a nonprofit that supports people facing hunger and hardship—people like Bo.
