Bostar x My Angel x Premium Unisex Hoodie

Created from heartbreak and transformed into a message of love, My Angel by BoStar is a tribute to a great-grandchild who was tragically stillborn and to the faith that carried a family through their grief.

After the loss, the child’s great-grandparent turned to prayer and reflection as a way of processing the pain. Having already prayed to sanctify the child to God, he found comfort in the belief that his great-grandchild was now in heaven. As part of that grieving process, he wrote a poem titled My Angel and later shared the story with his brother, BoStar.

Moved by the story, BoStar created the original My Angel artwork as an expression of love, remembrance, faith, and God’s comfort during one of life’s most difficult experiences. The drawing depicts an angel holding a child close, surrounded by imagery of tenderness and remembrance, with Philippians 4:13 incorporated into the piece as a message of strength through hardship.

The My Angel Unisex Hoodie brings that original artwork beyond the page and turns it into something that can be carried with you. More than a graphic hoodie, it represents the people we continue to love, the memories we carry, and the strength we sometimes have to find when life changes forever.

Through Inmate Create’s Give By Design program, this piece also carries a purpose beyond the artwork itself. BoStar’s artist earnings from every My Angel Unisex Hoodie sold will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

What began as one family’s way of finding comfort through grief has become an opportunity to turn remembrance into something that gives back.
